1. First meeting.

Today I met the woman who will guide me through this therapy to well-being. Her name is Maria and she is a very experienced psychologist, who specializes in phobias. Today we went through what and how the therapy works, and we made a map over my phobia. When it first occurred (many many years ago...) and in what situations (pretty much all and everywhere) I am scared/fearful and how I behave (as in not going outside at all, not daring to have my cat anymore, never open a window, etc) I have some homework to do until next time (which is next wednesday) with some forms to fill in daily. She also took my bipolar illness in to account to make sure that I don't start to hallucinate etc again. (so some forms for that too) Next time we will continue to map out the phobia, and then develop a plan on how to do the actual "treatment" which will include looking at photos, films, texts, and going to places that is particularly scary and eventually be in the same room and touch which I can't even begin to think of now as it is too scary. I will write here about each time. To remind myself and to share.
